Good afternoon!
So as some of you know, I will be heading off to attend my freshman year of college this fall. It's a little scary, but I'm looking forward to meeting new people, taking new classes, and expanding my horizons. However, it also got me thinking about the things that I might be missing while I'm away; which leads me to the subject of today's blog: Christmas Away from Home: Good or Bad?
Now, I'm a firm believer that Christmas, and indeed all of the important holidays should be spent with family and friends, whether it be at your home town or just where you're settled for the moment. However, if that's not possible (and for some people it's not) make sure that you surround yourself with those who love you.
With my holiday break from school, I will be spending the holidays back at home which I'm really excited for. That being said, I'm looking forward to having new people, as well as old to spend it with.
This post is going to be a short one, compared to the others. However, I'd like to leave you all with one final message: If you are trying to decide whether to go home for the holidays, GO! Your family will love you for it, and you'll have fun...well, most of you will. Some people will be barraded by screaming, drunkenness and burnt out Christmas lights, BUT sometimes even that can be fun.
Until next time,
Lasagna Claus
Just a heads up: 137 days until Christmas!
OH! And only 2 days until SHARK WEEK! (Which is almost as good, but not quite).
I understand Santa will be making a special appearance during Shark Week, his sleigh being pulled by 8 sharks. They need names...
